Marques Toliver Live @ Le Poisson Rouge, July 14 2011.

Over a month ago a link was posted on a friend’s wall of this man playing violin and singing. I was blown away, my body instantly covered with goosebumps. Another friend, without hesitation, booked tickets for us to see him in NYC. I’m glad she did because it was one of the best performances I have seen of late. One might presume a one man performance could be boring but the intensity and soul that came out of him had the whole crowd captivated. It was beautiful. Here are some of the photos I managed snap…
